HOW MANY ARE THERE?
there are over 16 million zhuang. they are the largest non-chinese minority people in china.


WHERE DO THEY LIVE?
the majority of zhuang live in guangxi province. guangxi, in southern china, borders on viet nam. some zhuang live in the neighboring provinces of yunnan and guizhou less than a million in each province.
 
what language do they speek?
the zhuang have their own language; it is related to the thai language of thailand. however, the thai and the zhuang cannot understand each other's speach. many zhuang also speak cantonese dialect of chinese.
the zhuang language was not written until the 1950's, when an alphabet based on the roman alphabet was devised for it. Now many zhuang children are receiving a bilingual education in primary school-learning both zhuang and chinese.

 
who is going to make a diffrence?
the peopel of china needs you and me to say the we care. with you us there is no tomorrow for them. while you and i might have tomorrow they don't. will you help give them a tomorrow, i'm going, the question remains, will you?
